i dunno

That's how I feel about the new season of Big Brother last night was the second show, with nominations. Five minutes into the show, Jen the girl I picked up for top 5 (yeah no longer) that bitch flips out over her picture and starts crying and shit. Covering up her picture b/c she didnt want anyone to see it. People laughing at her ass and she up there crying. Brings me to another sad soul Joe. Ugh the boy is too gay to function, (thanks Mean Girls)Im gay so Im not homophobic but that boy is TOOOOOOOOO much. I dont understand how he got a cute and nice guy like Dustin. And finally the old momma Kail who is playing the game so hard already. Getting her alliance with the 3 hottest guys in the house (I aint mad at you). There's just something about that sneaky bitch I dont like. So my losers of the week are. JEN (it was just a damn picture and your ass went crazy) JOE (baby tone it down, we know you are gay) and Kail (your ass is being too sneaky that shit is going to catch up with you)

T.G.I.F

I wasnt too happy earlier in the week b/c of the fact that the 4th was on Wednesday and all I got was one lously day off. But at this point its Friday, the wkend I head off to Chicago in the morning what is there to be sad about? So in honor of it being T.G.I.F check out sexy Michael from Chicago.... His eyes are sooo pretty.

because i love it

Father: You see, girls, there is an election coming up, and so far we have only had boring white men. This time we could have a black man or a woman as our president!

Four-year-old daughter: But Daddy, we're white!

Father: Yes, but we aren't boring.

reason 8 why i love summer

I usually hate summer tv because there's not shit on. A bunch of cheap reality shows that pretty much copy one another. BUT tonight CBS brings back my favorite summer guilty pleasure Big Brother. Last summer was amazing due to the fact that it was All-Stars but this summer brings the twist of the houseguest finding out that some of them will be sharing the house with an enemy or rival. I think it's a lame twist but it should deliver some big drama.

Based on cast bios, and quite honestly looks Im going to pick a few houseguest to follow. Danielle. Eric . Jen. Mike. and Nick. So those are my top 5 picks now, Im sure I will change them as the show goes on I just hope I didnt pick a bunch of douchebags to root for. pics via cbs.com

to be free.

I am absoultey digusted by the fact that President George Bush has decided to erase the prison sentence of former aide Lewis "Scooter" Libby. President Bush felt that the 30 month jail sentence was unfair but he left a $250,000 fine. To a crook who's friends and supporters have raised more than $5 million to cover legal fees whats a fuckin $250,000 fine?? Bush also left in place his two years of supervised release. But supervised release — a form of probation — is only available to people who have served prison time. Without prison, it's unclear what happens next. Senator Clinton said it best that the Libby decision "was clearly an effort to protect the White House. ... There isn't any doubt now, what we know is that Libby was carrying out the implicit or explicit wishes of the vice president, or maybe the president as well, in the further effort to stifle dissent." Talk about Indepence Day, Bush and Libby both give a new meaning to "the land of the free."

make it stop

People PLEASE stop it with Paris Hilton, I am fucking... yes fucking sick of hearing about her. She is not news, I sometimes am a fan of Larry King Live when he has a good interview. Like I will be watching Monday to see what Isiah Washington has to say about being let go from Grey's. But you can not tell me Paris Hilton has enough worth wild things to say to cover an entire 60 minute interview. How was life in jail? How was the food? Where the inmates nice? I dont give a shit.
While we foucs on Paris;

A car bomb killed 22 people in Baghdad

Torrential rains ravage central Texas

NYC power outage snarls traffic, trains

President Bush trys to push his plan to legalize millions of unlawful immigrants

The Supreme Court has rejected school assignment plans that take account of students' race in two major public school districts.

A battle between Edwards and Coulter was sparked by an appearance on GMA.

Senate Issues Subpoenas in Wiretapping Case

Residents are rushing to leave their homes as flames come closer in South Lake Tahoe, California.

Maybe its foolish of me to think that because of all the others issues in the world that we would focus on those rather than if jail was really hard for Paris. Dont get me wrong I love my celebrity news as well but on Access Hollywood, E!, not on Fox News or hell even my local news.

feeling the burn

You know what I love about reading a good book, the fact how it inspires me to write, to be who i want to be, and it gives me hope. I just finished reading Twenty Something - The Quarter-Life Crsis of Jack Lancaster by Iain Hollingshead. The book is basically about Jack a 25 year old guy in London who quits his job, dumps his girlfriend, all because he's not happy and he wants to find his purpose in life. There were so many points hit soo close to home to me, I have been feeling like Im in a transition stage in my life.

Things I found important in my life I see how foolish they really are, case in point I was watching EXTRA tonight, and I realized how much of a joke those shows are ("going inside the lives of celebrities".) They tease stories with false headlines to make you stay tunned only to find out the story was full of shit. Its a part of the business I realize that, a business I once thought I wanted to be in, but now at the moment I have no respect for it.

Sure I have dreams of rocking out a few novels, maybe a tv show or two, but its not for the fame but for the love of the craft. I remember watching an interview with MC (I know a constant point of reference for me, just like oprah what do you expect im black and gay lol,) she was saying how when she was a little girl she wanted to be famous, but never to the point where lies would be printed about her and her life would be under a microscope. Does becoming a public figure mean you are required to give up all sense of privacy? That is def a topic that I may go into another time but now its about the damn book.

I must say that I am really proud of myself for actually reading a book rather than spending my free time online checking out myspace and porn. For anyone 25 or any age really but def that 24-26 gap that feels lost without direction I should highly suggest picking up the book. For myself it was refreshing reading about a character who goes thru the same struggles taht I have/am. I honestly felt that I was only person who felt a particular way, and now I know Im not alone. I just wish more people who be more open about their struggles, because there really is strength in numbers.

not too exciting to me..

I could give a shit who wins the Oscar tonight, but Ill be watching every minute of it.

I do have to say Oprah's Oscar Special was damn entertaining.
I sure hope Barbara Walters took notes cause Im sure her Oscar Special tonight will be lame as hell.. Speaking of lame ass Ellen will probably do a shitty job of trying too hard to be funny, I guess all women love a sense of humor in their partners gay or straight, cause I dont know how Ellen got Portia. But what I do know is that Jennifer Hudson will blow Beyonce's ass out of the water during the live performances. Go Team Hudson..

it's offiical

NY Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton has officially entered the race for the 2008 Democratic presidential nomination. I for one am extremely excited about this, I have been a huge supporter of the Clinton's. I worked for Bill's campaign during the 1996 election against Bob Dole, by putting up signs around the neighborhood and handing out button and bumper stickers. Keep in mind that was 11 years ago, and I was only 15. But it should be interesting to see how things unfold, Sen. Barack Obama still may throw his hat into the race, along with New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson, embarking on a bid to become the first Hispanic to reside as president as well as the party's 2004 vice presidential candidate, John Edwards, and possibly others to follow. Clearly right now tho Sen. Clinton is the front runner but the most amazing thing to look at is the amount of diversity coming out for the election, that alone should make the American people proud. Stay Tuned.

same story different song

I didn't mean it
When I said I didn't love you so
I should have held on tight
I never should've let you go
I did nothing
I was stupid
I was foolish
I was lying to myself
I could not fathom that I would ever
Be without your love
Never imagined I'd be
Sitting here beside myself

I didn't know you
I didn't know me
But I thought I knew everything
I never felt
The feeling that I'm feeling now
Now that I don't
Hear your voice
Or even touch or even kiss your lips
Cause I don't have a choice
What I wouldn't give
To have you lying by my side
We belong together

When you left
I lost a part of me
It's still so hard to believe
Come back baby please
We belong together
Who else am I gonna lean on
When times get rough
Who's gonna talk to me on the phone
Till the sun comes up
Who's gonna take your place
Baby nobody else
We belong together

I can't sleep at night
When you're all on my mind
Bobby Womack's on the radio
Singing to me
'If you think you're lonely now'
Wait a minute
This is too deep, too deep
I gotta change the station
So I turn the dial
Trying to catch a break
And then I hear Babyface
I only think of you
And it's breaking my heart
I'm trying to keep it together
But I'm falling apart
I'm feeling all out of my element
I'm throwing things
Crying
Trying to figure out
Where the hell I went wrong
The pain reflected in this song
Ain't even half of what
I'm feeling inside
I need you
Need you back in my life baby

When you left
I lost a part of me
It's still so hard to believe
Come back baby please
We belong together
Who else am I gonna lean on
When times get rough
Who's gonna talk to me
Till the sun comes up
Who's gonna take your place
Baby nobody else
We belong together

We Belong Together is without a doubt probably the best R&B song recorded in the past 20 years. Yeah the song is a little old and you are probably wondering why are I am posting the lyrics well it's simple. I am still head over heels in love with my ex and this song expresses how I feel 120%. The pain of letting a love go, only to realize there's not another one like it. With that said this one is for you babe.

eh could be worst

Porn Starlet Mary Carey decided to mock Mariah Carey, who is trying to stop Mary from trademarking her name. MC's lawyers say that they are worried about fans getting them confused. Eh im not sure about that BUT I can understand MC wouldn't want share the Carey brand. Not that there's any doubt but I'm definitely Team MC.

brand new year

So New Year Eve has come and gone, and some of us hardly remember it, I personally decided to go a different route rather than going out club hoping. This year, well last year I wasnt really feeling the 'let's go out, drink and dancing mode' it was more the 'lets get some friends together with good food, good drinks deal.'It was nice and very chill just the way I like it, I hope all of you had a wonderful time as well whatever you did. Ive been reading the Anderson Cooper book Dispatches From The Edge and he had a great quote about New Years that I thought pretty much sums up the whole holiday. "I've always thought that New Year's Eve is proof that human beings are essentially optimistic creatures. Despite hundreds of years of pathetic parties and hellish hangovers, we contiune to cling to the notion that its possible to have fun on that night. It's not. There's too much pressure, too many expectations, too few bathrooms."

So true Anderson, so true. New Years to me isnt about the parties it's about the idea that there' a New Year to do all over, whatever mistakes you made in the past year, you can leave them there and have a fresh start. As far as resolutions go, they are pretty much health related, great better and hit the gym like every other America, except in my case Im not fat I just want to turn my 6 pack to a 8. But over all Im really looking forward to 2007, I turn 25 which by itself its a big deal to me. Mostly because Im hoping that I grow up a helluva lot this year lol, I cant keep fucking around forever. And by fucking around, I def dont mean sex.

the Holiday

So a few weeks ago, I saw the Holiday the romantic comedy with Jude Law and Cameron Diaz. The premise of the movie sounded interesting I didnt realize that home swaping actually took place until I saw it on craigslist. So basically the movie is about two women who are going thru difficult times in their love lives, they both are looking for a change when they meet online, on a house swaping site. They both agree to the swap and of course like ever other romantic comedy they both fall in love. Like it happens that easily in life. Now what makes the movie really interesting is the message, Kate Winslet character Iris is in love with a guy who only sees her as a booty call basically. He only calls when he wants something or is convenient for him, and she runs to him each time. I remember thinking come on woman leave his ass alone. But then I was thinking how many times I have "sweated" a guy who didn't give me anything in return. Thru out the movie she develops more backbone and self confidence really in herself. So at the end she realizes how great she is and how she deserves soo much more. This movie could have easily been a guy hating movie, sending out the message all men suck.. but it doesn't the reality is yeah a lot of them are asshole but not all.

Relationships are so tricky and they shouldn't be. If people who be more honest and up front about what they want it would save so much heartache and pain. I usually watch a movie and enjoy it, I don't usually think about the real content. Their were a few times in the movie I told my friend I should have brought a note pad to take notes. In matter of fact I may go see it again and do so lol... To me the Holiday wasn't just a cute date movie but it was an empowering and inspiring movie that reminded me that I deserve the world and not to settle for someone who cant give you a star.

whats hot now..

The first half of the new Fall T.V. season is almost over, and I def have found more winners than losers, "Heros", "Ugly Betty" are gems. Not to mention "Grey's Anatomy", and "Desperate Housewives". Can you believe this is my first year watching Grey's? But there are two shows, that happen to come on the Sunday night that really take the cake.

"The Amazing Race" which is an oldie and "Brothers and Sisters" which is a newbie. Like Grey's this is my first time around catching "The Amazing Race", who happened to have just wrapped their 10th season this past Sunday. And I'm over the moon that my boys won the competition, I had been a Tyler and James fan from the start. The fact that they are hot probably played a big part in that also. Tho I am sad to see the show go, the upside is that it will be back in February with it's All-Star Edition.

You know I remember from back in the spring when there was talk about a possible new show for ABC called "Brothers and Sisters". All I knew was that Calista Flockhart was attached to the project and that was all I needed to hear. You have to be crazy not to have liked or at least seen an episode of Ally McBeal. But like the dramas on the screen there were a lot of behind the screen antics as well, writers in and out, actors being re casted, the pilot being shot, and re shot. With all of that said I was still eagerly looking forward to show, only knowing the basic plot. Basically the show gets picked up officially and months for it's premiere, the critics completey trash it. Thank god, people can think for themselves because "Brothers and Sisters" has become a breakout hit for ABC. The show has everything that a good family drama needs, A great cast(Sally Fields, Calista Flockhart, Rachel Griffins - who I hated on Sixth Feet Under but love on here) great heart warming story telling and a gay son lol.

I didn't grow up with a close family and that probably has made me a tad bit cynical when it comes to "family love" idea. Btw this isn't a woe is me moment, just the point that every week after watching "Brothers and Sisters" I find myself longing for that happy yet dysfunctional family. Any show that can evoke that can of emotion out of me, now that's what I call good T.V.

"Brothers and Sisters" air Sunday nights following "Desperate Housewives"

phase it out..

Unless you have been living under a rock for the past two weeks, I am sure you all have heard about the Michael Richards outbust. Now I have been debating for awhile exactly what I wanted to say, cause believe me I def have an opinion on the matter.

So basically Michael Richards (Kramer from Seinfeld) was doing a stand-up routine in LA, and some blacks guys started talking shit (surpise surpise) and that bastard went crazy and took it back to 1802; "Nigger this and Nigger that, and we should hang ya ass". Of course media had a field day with this, the public was shocked with disbelief.NIGGA PLEASE.. do you think Michael Richards is the only white man in America that feels that way? Hell No, he just happen to be the one that got caught on camera. Im not mad at him, or holding a grudge against him. I mean I never watched or liked Seinfeld anyways.

The interesting thing is that here in America we have something called Free Speech, you do not have to agree with what someone says. But they have the right to say whatever they want, no matter how irresponisble it may be. I know most people would not agree with what I say 9 times out of 10. But I have that right to say whatever I please. Now as a black male, I still dont care what he said, Why? because Im a not a nigger and that word does not bother me. There's is nothing associated with that word that describes me. I can think of a few other words but that is not one of them.

You know the way I see it, that if society really has a problem with the word. STOP USING IT. Im talkin to you rappers and street thugs, "whats up my nigga" ( Changing the ER to an A doesnt mean shit!) and wigga white boys "that's my nigga". You call yourself and each other that name so much, it has become cool, just like bitch. But dont let the wrong person call you that, then you are ready to fight or better yet you run out and hire high-profile attorney Gloria Allred to try and collect a quick pay day. Leave the man alone, he said it, he apologized, move on. Jesse Jackson,Al Sharpton dont need to get involved, Mel(the jew hater)Gibson doesnt need to try and take up for him. Btw when did Mel Gibson get his crebitability back to be helping somebody out?

At the end of the day, only Michael Richards nows how he truly feel, but if he's racist, I wish he would just say yeah I dont like you, rather than blame it on drinking or stress or blah blah blah.. dont give me that shit. I mean I dont like Mexicans especially the ones who work in resturants and dont have good hygiene. It just pays to be honest.

fight a good cause.
