MC was on the Tonite Show the other nite, lookin cute.. promoting the tour. There has been soo much talk about how Madonna so called heard that MC's tour was selling poorly and started laughing "hysterically" even going as far as to ask the tour promoter for her telephone number. Number 1 Im not the biggest Madonna fan but I refuse to believe 47 year old is that damn petty. Number 2 A Carey rep argues, "Her tour is selling really well. She's canceled a few cities so she can add shows in larger cities. Toronto and Vancouver are sold out. So is her Madison Square Garden show. She's adding a Jones Beach show Sept. 3." For the first time in BIG BROTHER history worldwide, viewers will vote on which former HouseGuests will compete in BIG BROTHER 7: ALL-STARS. Tonite at 8PM Julie Chen will unveil the top 20 candidates from seasons past. Web voting opens at www.cbs.com after the show at midnight ET/9PM PT. The polls close Wednesday, June 28 at 11:59PM ET/8:59PM PT. The one that got away...

2005 was def a year of the 'comeback' for R&B ladies such as MC and Mary J Blige, but one other R&B diva came out with an album and some how got lost in the shuffle. In September of 2005 Toni Braxton came out with LIBRA. I remember slighty hearing about it and seeing the ads on BET for the cd; but the only song I had heard was the first single 'Please' and if you are a gay male that goes out to clubs. Im sure you have heard the remix played because it's def a club banger. After seeing Toni on the finale of American Idol my interest in her were sparked again and I decided to look into her music. For a lady who has been out for 10 years she def has her own catalog of hits 'He wasnt man enough for me, Unbreak my heart, 7 whole days'. What I really wanted was to find songs that I havent heard before and that's when I really came across LIBRA. It's almost like a rare gem, that was hidden and I lucked up and stumble acrossed it. Unlike most cds these days LIBRA only has 10 songs, Im not sure if her record company kinda gave up on here and decided not to push the album or what? Out of the 10 songs I found 6 to be really good, which may not seem like a lot but the days of a person listening and loving a whole cd are long gone. I highly suggest these in this order for you to check out....

I have to say I love love love. 'Shadowless' and 'Stupid', more so for the sexy jazz vibe the songs gives off. On her last cd "More Than a Woman", Toni tired to get on the hip/hop band wagon with the showcase of rapper dropping lines. But this time it's just Toni back to her basics and she def shines. Tomorrow nite (thursday) Making The Band 3 comes back to MTV.. I love Making the Band and of course Aubrey O'Day ( the blonde with the big hair) I missed TRL today but they were on it and annouced the name of the new band. Local hometown hottie.. (my hometown) JJ Redick was charged early Tuesday morning with unlawful use of highways and driving while impaired before he was released on $1,000 bond. One week, mind you before the NBA draft. JJ's former coach Mike Krzyzewski said, "J.J. knows he made a mistake and regrets it. He represented the very best in college athletics and exhibited outstanding character at Duke the last four years. People need to chill out and relax everyone makes mistakes no one is perfect. Life is about making mistakes and learning from it, and I hope JJ does. I def wish him luck...

She knows how to turn it around.. After lookin not sooo cute @ the Hot 97's Summer Jam the other day. MC decided to do a 180 in my opinion when she went out to Sean "Diddy" Combs' party , celebrating the success of his fragrance "Unforgivable" that he threw after The CFDA (Council of Fashion Designers of America) awards. I gotta say again. I love when she does the straight hair especially when it's more blonde. I actually really like the design of the dress, notice how the stones at the btm turns it from a simple black dress to something really cute.
