the view is about to get a whole lot
BLACKER Congratulations to Whoopi Goldberg and Sherri Shepherd will join the panel. The Los Angeles Times reports that Whoopi, who had been tipped for months to fill a "View" seat, will join the show's new season. Im not surpised by the announcement Sherri and Whoopi have been filling in for awhile now and they seem to be doing well. Im glad they decided to go with two color faces, of course no offical word has been made. Regardless congrats ladies but you still arent Rosie.

someone help.. anybody help...
say it isnt so..
Discovery Channel is looking into claims that Man vs. Wild doesn't rough it as much as viewers are led to believe. "Discovery Communications has learned that isolated elements of Man vs. Wild in some episodes were not natural to the environment and that for health and safety concerns the crew and host received some survival assistance," the cabler says in a statement cited by the Reporter.
An investigation by the U.K.'s Channel 4 found that Man vs. Wild host Bear Grylls retreated to a hotel room on at least two occasions when it was purported that he slept "in the wild." (To be fair, the lodging in question was a Motel 6, so... tomato, tom-ah-to.) Discovery maintains that "moving forward, the program will be 100-percent transparent, and all elements... will be explained to our viewers."
The story is via tvguide, if you look down I just featured Mr. Bear Grylls as one of the many guys that I have a crush on. I really enjoy his show I hope the whole thing isnt fake. Its kinda nice actually being able to say I watch another cable network besides for MTV and E!

what a cute family

Too bad most people have no idea who you are. Eddie Cibrian was out in LA with his wife and oldest son. Soap fans may remember Eddie from Young and the Restless and Sunset Beach, he also starred on Third Watch and the short lived ABC show Invasion. Eddie's a good looking guy and decent actor why isnt he working? pic via justjared.com

update on photoshop MC
Apparently the photoshopped ad for MC's M by Mariah Carey ad is a FAKE. According to tmz.com Miss Mariah has herself flopping around the web in a photoshopped pic showing the singer with her new fragrance, and Elizabeth Arden wants you to know -- that's not right!
An Arden spokesperson released this statement: "An image of Mariah Carey with her fragrance bottle photoshopped in the corner is being featured on several blogs today, and is categorically not the advertisement for her new fragrance, nor is it even remotely close. The real ad for M by Mariah Carey will debut exclusively on TMZ during the second week of August."
I gotta give tmz.com credit for getting down to the bottom of this, fake or not its a beautiful picture.(call me biased) but MC is flat shoes and ugly flat shoes at that, was the first sign something was wrong. But I do look forward to the new fall ad campaign. Thanks tmz.com for always getting down to the truth. That maybe pushing it a little, nevertheless check out tmz.com for the latest in celebrity news.

my take on.. Emmy Nominations
Def Makes Me Happy
.Heroes, Entourage, and Ugly Betty's nods for Outstanding Drama and Comedy Series.
.Im super excited about Sally Field and Rachel Griffith's nods for Outstanding and Supporting actress for my favorite show Brothers and Sisters.
.New supporting-actor comedy blood: Neil Patrick Harris and Kevin Dillon.
.Beautiful Vanessa Williams getting a much deserve nod for Supporting Actress in a comedy series.
Blah blah..
.To the usual boring suspects, Edie Falco, Mariska Hargitay, James Gandolfini and Tony Shalhoub
Im really pissed/shocked!?
. No nominations for LOST??? What they had in my opinion their best season ever.
.What no Best Drama Series nod for Brothers and Sisters?
. No Jonathan Rhys Meyers for the Tudors?
When it comes to the Emmys you win some, you lose some. Overall Im not too upset with this year's crop of nominations, def much better than last years.

he's got style.
guess who's back

Thank God for second chances, after being let go from "Grey's Anatomy" in June, following several months of controversy of his alleged use of a homophobic slur toward castmate T.R. Knight. Isaiah Washington has a new JOB. New NBC boss Ben Silverman announced Monday at the Television Critics Association press tour that former "Grey's Anatomy" star will have a recurring part on "Bionic Woman" in the fall. He'll appear in five of the show's first six episodes, and has also signed a development deal for an action series project with Universal Media Studios. I for one could not be happier, you know some people a lot of people dont like Isaiah. I happen to, actually more so after the whole Grey's firestorm than when he was on the show, Im just glad he got a second chance to prove himself. I like many others, are soo quick to be dismissive of other people especially when they do something wrong or something we dont personally agree. Giving someone a second chance, is not easy for me to do but every once in a while it can be worth wild.

i dunno
That's how I feel about the new season of Big Brother last night was the second show, with nominations. Five minutes into the show, Jen the girl I picked up for top 5 (yeah no longer) that bitch flips out over her picture and starts crying and shit. Covering up her picture b/c she didnt want anyone to see it. People laughing at her ass and she up there crying. Brings me to another sad soul Joe. Ugh the boy is too gay to function, (thanks Mean Girls)Im gay so Im not homophobic but that boy is TOOOOOOOOO much. I dont understand how he got a cute and nice guy like Dustin. And finally the old momma Kail who is playing the game so hard already. Getting her alliance with the 3 hottest guys in the house (I aint mad at you). There's just something about that sneaky bitch I dont like. So my losers of the week are. JEN (it was just a damn picture and your ass went crazy) JOE (baby tone it down, we know you are gay) and Kail (your ass is being too sneaky that shit is going to catch up with you)

I wasnt too happy earlier in the week b/c of the fact that the 4th was on Wednesday and all I got was one lously day off. But at this point its Friday, the wkend I head off to Chicago in the morning what is there to be sad about? So in honor of it being T.G.I.F check out sexy Michael from Chicago.... His eyes are sooo pretty.

because i love it
Father: You see, girls, there is an election coming up, and so far we have only had boring white men. This time we could have a black man or a woman as our president!
Four-year-old daughter: But Daddy, we're white!
Father: Yes, but we aren't boring.

reason 8 why i love summer

I usually hate summer tv because there's not shit on. A bunch of cheap reality shows that pretty much copy one another. BUT tonight CBS brings back my favorite summer guilty pleasure Big Brother. Last summer was amazing due to the fact that it was All-Stars but this summer brings the twist of the houseguest finding out that some of them will be sharing the house with an enemy or rival. I think it's a lame twist but it should deliver some big drama.
Based on cast bios, and quite honestly looks Im going to pick a few houseguest to follow. Danielle. Eric . Jen. Mike. and Nick. So those are my top 5 picks now, Im sure I will change them as the show goes on I just hope I didnt pick a bunch of douchebags to root for. pics via cbs.com

to be free.

I am absoultey digusted by the fact that President George Bush has decided to erase the prison sentence of former aide Lewis "Scooter" Libby. President Bush felt that the 30 month jail sentence was unfair but he left a $250,000 fine. To a crook who's friends and supporters have raised more than $5 million to cover legal fees whats a fuckin $250,000 fine?? Bush also left in place his two years of supervised release. But supervised release — a form of probation — is only available to people who have served prison time. Without prison, it's unclear what happens next. Senator Clinton said it best that the Libby decision "was clearly an effort to protect the White House. ... There isn't any doubt now, what we know is that Libby was carrying out the implicit or explicit wishes of the vice president, or maybe the president as well, in the further effort to stifle dissent." Talk about Indepence Day, Bush and Libby both give a new meaning to "the land of the free."
