smP

That's right the lovely Ms. well Mrs. Gellar is offically Sarah Michelle Prinze, regardless of the name change SMP is Maxim Magazine's Woman of the Year. Which is really strange not because I dont love her, but SMP hasnt really had a big year entertainment wise. She has a few movies slated for release but no big projects that has kept her in the limelight. Ive already made a great suggestion for SMP's career, join LOST but I guess the writer's strike would have to end for that to happen, not to mention someone from ABC would have to have a brain or at least check out my blog for that to happen.

So here are some outtakes from SMP's Maxim Magazine shoot, via maximonline.

old habits die hard

Main Entry :change
Pronunciation: \ˈchānj\
Function: verb
Inflected Form(s): changed; chang·ing
Etymology: Middle English, from Anglo-French changer, from Latin cambiare to exchange, probably of Celtic origin; akin to Old Irish camm crooked
Date: 13th century
transitive verb
1 a: to make different in some particular : alter b: to make radically different : transform can't change human nature c: to give a different position, course, or direction to
2 a: to replace with another let's change the subject b: to make a shift from one to another : switch c: to exchange for an equivalent sum of money (as in smaller denominations or in a foreign currency) d: to undergo a modification of e: to put fresh clothes or covering on

When I decided to move it was because I wanted a change, its funny because whenever I turn the TV on these days I hear that word thrown around so often. While channel surfing I came across, Democratic Presidential hopeful Barack Obama declared that "change can't just be a slogan" as he voiced admiration for former President Clinton, while arguing that voters are looking for a new face that moves past the bitter wrangling of past campaigns. He is the candidate of change. He later went on to say "Change has to mean that we're not doing the same old thing that we've been doing." And those statements got me thinking.

Moving for change means that I shouldn't be doing the same old thing that Ive been doing. Yet Ive seemed to fall into my old habits of just working and then going home alone and bullshitting around. If I wanted to have a lame ass life I should have stayed my ass on the east coast.

It's funny that something Barack said made me reevaluate my life, since I not really a supporter of his, but I save that for an upcoming blog. Trying to find yourself is not an easy task, yet another blog I will save for another time. But regardless it's not easy, I made the leap of the move I just need to learn to make the leap of throwing myself out into the world. I don't want to end this blog with a lame cliche statement such as "Here I am World" but it kinda sums up how I feel.

dont forget

In honor of Thanksgiving, here's MC preforming Dont Forget About Us on THANKSGIVING ;-)

giving thanks

I have issue with the Holiday Thanksgiving, mostly because I don't feel like we should wait til the one day a year to look back over the past year and give thanks for what we are grateful for. Maybe because I'm trying to become a more spiritual individual. Every night I give thanks to god for all the blessings he has given me. If it takes having a major commercial holiday for people to give thanks, then so be it. I think it's kinda lame, I personally don't really celebrate it and I doubt I will in future years. Regardless of my personal feelings of the non holiday I have my list of the top 10 things that I am grateful for.

10. MSNBC Thank you MSNBC, Joe Scarborough, Willie Geist, Chris Matthews and even you Tucker Carlson for keeping me well informed and up to date in the world of real news.
9. It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia Thank you IASP, for making me laugh week after week and reminding me that being politically correct is boring.
8. Myspace, because you really are a place for friends.
7. Cady McClain and Kelly Monaco, for making daytime tv enjoyable to me.
6. Michael Lucas, Thank you Michael Lucas for producing the best porn in the world, countless hours of good jo material there.
5. Apple, Thank you Apple for creating the Ipod and Iphone, both that make my life soo much more entertaining.
4. Seattle, because I'm in a new city with all new possibilities.
3. MC, Thank you MC for always inspiring me to do better.
2. Brandon,Judy, and Dave, Thank you Brandon and Judy for showing me what true friends are, and Dave for always reminding me what love is.

AND 1. JESUS, Thank you God because without you nothing would be possible.

bullshit

"I have sad news. TPTB are wrapping up the Rosanna storyline early. I was slated to work through February, but the story took a dramatic turn that will alter that plan. I have always been open to all possibilities, even this one, but I will be sad to have to say goodbye so soon.

Thanks for all your support during my brief return! Who knows where I shall land next. It’s gonna be an interesting 2008! "

Love and gratitude always…

Cady
