Gettin Personal

In a few weeks, I'm going to be leaving everything that I know behind to venture out on a whole new experience. As the time before I leave draws to an end, I am here feeling mixed emotions. Part of me, is sad to be leaving, maybe even a little scared; but the other part of me is ready to go.

But with saying goodbye I realize that the most disapointng thing of all. Is that it has come to me that I have a whole lot of associates and very few friends. Now my defintion of a friend is probably very different than other and more intense. A friend to me is someone who could be as close to you as a sibling. A confidant who you can tell your darkest secrets, and deepest fears to never having to worry about being judged no matter how ridiculous they may seem. Someone you can carry on a whole converstation with without a word being said.

I've never understood why people wanted to engage in meaningless relationships without substance. The purpose of this blog isnt to bash how other people interact, this is just a healthy dialogue of explaining how I feel. I mean the term "friend" gets thrown around so much, it's easy to say that you are "friends" with someone. But talk is cheap..you know..action.. action is something most individuals infrequently utilize.

I dont have strong family bonds, sadly. I sometimes I continually try to rebuild them. But it's most unfortunate because they rarely reciprocate or best yet, give me manifestations that they are trying and love me when it's all a front. The power one has over another person it's immense. I think sometimes we take that too lightly and play with people's emotions or lives in adverse ways.

Maybe it's our fears and insecurities inhibit our ability to live life to the fullest. Thus keeping us from seeking more intimate realtionships, or maybe everyone just develops and grows at different rates. Some at extremely fast rates others not. Whatever the case may be I love and cherish each and everyone of my friends. You all's value is ineffable and I love you all for that.

I have to say HBO fuckin ROCKS well when it comes to there orginal programing. First Sex in the City then came The Comeback and now I have discovered the joys of Curb Your Enthusiasm. Oh my god I had no idea that this show was sooo damn funny, if you have never seen it I strongly suggest you check the show out. pic via hbo.com

Good Cookin..

Another one of my latest favorite shows is 30 minute meals on the foodnetwork. Now I can not cook a damn thing that's why it's soo fun to watch her make these "easy" meals that anyone can make. It usually comes weekdays @ 6:00 pm. but I'm sure u can catch it on a few other times as well if you go to foodnetwork.com to see when it comes on.

Project Runway

One of the best TV shows ever! Is hitting stores tomorrow, 2 weeks before season 2 premires Dec 7th on Bravo.. SO for anyone who has not seen the show you should def check out the dvd! pic via bravotv.com

Madonna scored her 3rd consecutive chart-topper with Confessions on a Dancefloor, selling 350,000. With Madge on top, American Idol babe Carrie Underwood had to settle for the undercard. Her debut disc, Some Hearts, sold 315,000 copies at number two, making her the second straight Idol champ to miss the top spot. Last week's number one album by Kenny Chesney, fell to number three as The Road and the Radio roped in 191,000 copies. AND THEN the comeback story of the year, reentered the Top 10 with the "Ultra Platinum Edition" of her red-hot The Emancipation of Mimi. The disc jumped 11 spots to number four, moving 185,000 copies, up from 42,000 the week prior. In its 32nd week on the charts, Mimi has sold just under 4 million copies in the U.S. 3,920,530 to be exact. ALSO for Ms. Carey her latest single Don't Forget About Us jumped from number17 to number 11 this week on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Happy Thankgiving Everyone ... The best thing about today besides the food, was watchin Mariah preform during the Halftime Show of the Detroit Lions vs. the Atlanta Falcons. She performed "Shake It Off" and Don't Forget About Us" which obliviously u can tell was a lip sync but we love Mariah! Hmmm where to begin? Mariah opened the show and the performance well... I still loved it but she had a few technical problems.While accepting her award for Best Female Artist: R&B Mariah explained what happened. " Thank you so much! No. 1 Southern California got another major scare Saturday night. But the electrifying Reggie Bush, playing the game of his life, wouldn't let the Trojans lose. Bush, making a strong Heisman Trophy statement, ran for a career-high 294 yards on 23 carries and scored twice, leading the Trojans to a wild 50-42 victory over No. 16 Fresno State and keeping their hopes alive for an unprecedented third straight national championship. Bush caught three passes for 68 yards and set a Pac-10 record with 513 all-purpose yards, easily breaking the USC standard of 368 set by Anthony Davis against Notre Dame in 1972. Christina is offically off the market... The Dirrty Girl and her longtime boyfriend, music mogul Jordan Bratman, 28, swapped vows Saturday in a lavish ceremony at Napa Valley's Auberge Du Soleil resort. I'm not sure why some media outlets are saying the "word" leaked Friday that they were getting married this wkend when in the new issue of "Ok! Magazine" they have a full page ad sayin to check out next week's issue for exclusive pics from the wedding.. Anyways I'm happy for her... Congrats again..

When I knew I was gay.

Yesterday Oprah had a really interesting show it was titled When I knew I was gay. There were various guest on the show who told about their first experience of realizing their sexuality. And it got me thinking about my own story, what was my first memory of realization. I always knew I was different and now looking back I can see what would be a def. sign that I was gay. I remember being in 3rd or 4th grade and I was in love with my best friend Brian Neal, it wasnt sexual at all it was more like a mancrush. In 6th grade is when my mancrush turned into sexual lust.
