TCA SUMMER PRESS TOUR ABC

So It's the summer press tour time again, the time of year where the networks present their new fall line ups to reporters, most of the time it can be a bleak event but every once and awhile someone shakes things up. TVguide Michael Ausiello does an AMAZING job taking notes at the tour I highly recommond reading his on hand take. ( http://tvguide.com/News/Insider/2005/0727/01insider.htm ) Well one of the highlights has been the backlash of ABC's hit show Dancing with the Stars where my favorite Kelly Monaco beat out "the favored" John O' Hurley. Ever since the show aired every rag has been talkin about how the votes were rigged and so forth. Simple fact of it all is that Kelly did a better job and she won. “I do not hold anything personally. I’m not going to go home and cry because someone did not like my dancing,” the actress from ABC’s “General Hospital” said Tuesday of a viewer backlash. "I did my job," said Monaco, whose was partnered with professional dancer Alec Mazo. "I did what Alec taught me to do, and I left it to the audience and the viewers to decide."
“I felt from the beginning this is fun for me. ... If you don’t like it, you don’t like it. I wouldn’t be sitting here if the whole world hated what I did."
Again for the best take on this story and any others from the press tour head over to TVguide.com, check out UPN Day 3 with Chris Rock answering questions from the media.. It's hilarious!

Kill Reality

So I watched this show on E! Monday nite called Kill Reality where basically all these "reality stars" are brought together to make a movie. Obliviously the movie will prob suck, but the train wreck (the show), brings us moments upon moments of entertainment. So the cast is made up of Steven Hill, Tonya Cooley, and Trishelle Cannatella all from the Real World. Survivor's Jenna ( I sold my honeymoon sex tape) Lewis, the million dollar couple Ethan Zohn, and Jenna Morascca, and Jonny (I'm so gross) Fairplay; along with a few other people who really arent important. Right off the bat you have Tonya talkin about having slept with Jonny Fairplay. Now when Real World Chicago first premiered I liked Tonya and her kidney stones, but this blonde hoe bag is just damn sad and dirtty, not to mention still suffering from some deep emotionals issues. Then you have Toni Ferrari from Paradise Hotel, ( one of the best reality shows ever made in my opinion) crying about how she has been struggling for the past 9 years to break into the industry and no one wants to give her a chance because he/she did reality tv. Honey if you have been trying for 9 years maybe it is time to look into another career. So basically the writer/director feels sorry for her and creates a pity role for her, which she yets decides to rewrite and add her own twist to the story because she can not pronounce the character's last name... Kozlowski. Then we had "the gay" Amazing Race winner Reichen Lehmkuhl complaining about how the "gay" terms in the movie made him feel uncomfortable and ask for it to be changed. I'm gay I thought it was funny oh well maybe I have a sick sense of humor. Oh yeah crazy ass Stacey J from The Apprentice 2 is on here as well, you know she is good for stirring up the pot, or just walking around looking crazy ass hell. Forget the movie the Scorned which they are creating, the behind the scenes train wreck of it all makes this enjoyable tv.
