A Real Ball Game

This past Saturday's game with USC and Notre Dame was in my opinion the best game of the season thus far. A real football game is one that sparks emotion, and keeps you on the edge of your seat rooting for your team to bring it home. Both USC and Notre Dame played a helluva game. It was looking quite bleak for the Trojans but the champions they are, they were able to win in the last seconds 34-31. My MVP of the game is Reggie Bush who 160 yards and 3 touchdowns. Interesting fact depsite losing Notre Dame doesnt move in the polls, a fact that I know angers many fans. USC will play PAC-10 rival Washington next Saturday. pic via trojansport.com

So I went and saw the new Cameron Diaz movie In Her Shoes it was good, but def too long. It's kinda sappy tho. I'm not a believer in happy ever afters. I find myself to be a romantic guy but I'm also a realist. Life doesnt offer you endless happiness so if you got it. Keep it.

Happy Coming Out Day

It's National Coming Out Day for everyone but me.. lol. I think I'm gonna try the closet thing for a few more years. No really this year's theme is "talk about it". I was reading in the latest Time Magazine whos cover story about America's Gay Teensand they go on to list the different stats about how much easier it is coming out now rather than 5, even 10 years ago. There still is a long ways to go, but for the most part America is slowly embacing the alternative lifestyles.

Trojans

LenDale White scored for a career high 4 touchdowns , rushed for 179 yeards and No.1 USC won 42-31 for it's 27th Consecutive victory against Arizona. The Trojans also won their school record 23rd home game. Matt Leinart was 26 of 40 for 360 yards, 2 touchdowns and 1 interception before being replaced by John David Booth in the 4th quarter. Next up Nortre Dame Oct. 15th.. So the reason I like USC is because my sister went there, I have been a fan before they started winning championships so I'm not a bangwagoner. I'm not a die hard sports fan either thus is why I dont go all in depth in my wkend wrap ups. The only thing I'm concerned with is whether or not USC won, and who preformed the best. pics via usc.edu

Going into the half USC trailed 21-3 and they really didnt start to turn it around until the 4th quarter. ``There was no excuse for those errors,'' Reggie Bush said. ``We are a national champion team.'' USC finished the game 38-28 extending their winning streak. So last night Sunday, well early evening I went and saw A History of Violence. I thought I had a somewhat idea of the premise of the movie. A guy lives in a small town with his wife and kids leading quiet life, then some guys come to town who thinks he is someone else. Well for the most part that's right but in no shape way or form was I prepared for the intensity of this movie. The action scenes were graphic and brutal, the sex scenes were hot and intense. The only reason I went and saw it was because Maria Bello stars in it, and I love Maria Bello.
